Update on the pig slaughterers' disease

I've long wished that The New York Times offered a Tuesday-only subscription so that I could carry its Science section around with me all week. But it doesn't, so I rely on the Web. Today's section has a well-researched article that takes a more in-depth look at the new disease affecting workers at a hog-slaughtering plant in Minnesota.

jen used to get a subscription to just wednesday NYT when we were in college...why can't you now? there are probably not enough subscribers due to web availability so they have to suck all the funds they can out of those who prefer paper versions. of course, i am just the downtrodden wife of a laid-off newspaper employee...

Thanks for swinging by! Indeed, the puddle was on the lake side... skating should be dandy, albeit hecka cold.

Grisly, fascinating article. "I always had brains on my arms" -- the new documentary by David Lynch, premiering Apr 3 at the Mad Film Fest. ;)
